Drivers’ Policy

Information Collection and Use

The Carepool Drivers’ App is a private application provided only to drivers of Carepool Innovation, Inc. (Carepool) for the sole purpose of providing their current GPS data and ride status to the Carepool dispatch system.

Driver Identification and GPS coordinates are sent at regular intervals from the app to the Carepool dispatch system. This real time information is then made available to Carepool dispatchers to be used in the performance of their duties.

Specifically, only the following data is provided by the device to the Carepool dispatch system:

  • Driver Name
  • Precise Location

Current and previous location data sent by the application is stored by Carepool.

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You. We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Service refers to the Application or the Website or both.

Types of Data Collected – Personal Data: While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to: Email address; First name and last name; Phone number; Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City; Usage Data.

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service and may include Your Device’s Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Information from Third-Party Social Media Services: The Company allows You to create an account and log in through Third-party Social Media Services such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. If You grant us access, We may collect Personal data already associated with Your account.

Information Collected while Using the Application: With Your prior permission, We may collect: Information regarding your location; Information from your Device’s phone book (contacts list); Pictures and other information from your Device’s camera and photo library. You can enable or disable access to this information at any time through Your Device settings.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on Our Service. We use Session and Persistent Cookies including: Necessary/Essential Cookies (to authenticate users and prevent fraudulent use); Cookies Policy/Notice Acceptance Cookies; Functionality Cookies (to remember your login details or language preference).

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data to: provide and maintain our Service; manage Your Account; perform a contract; contact You by email, telephone, SMS, or push notifications; provide You with news and special offers (unless You have opted out); manage Your requests; evaluate or conduct business transfers; and for data analysis and improving our Service.

The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
